There's plenty to do here in Beautiful Vancouver, so click on some of the below links for some helpful ideas! Since the arrival of stand up paddling, our Burrard Inlet is nicknamed "Board the Fjord". Another great way to tour our coastline. Feel like trying this new sport out? These are also included with our amenities, along with kayaks. (waiver to be signed) With our 3 local mountains just a 15 minute drive away there's plenty to do. You can go Skiing, Snowboarding or Snowshoeing up either Grouse Mountain, Cypress Mountainor Mount Seymour and after a long day of out door activities there's some nice, warm lodges up there for a great dinner or a late lunch! Even in summer these mountains are great to check out the hiking trails and beautiful views of the city.
Curious about Whistler? Site of the 2010 Olympics! Whistler is a 1.5 hour drive; One of the most beautiful scenic drives you'll ever see. If you want a casual beer and a bite, down the street, the Raven Pub is just a 5 minute walk away, it has great food and a casual environment with people of all ages. Are you wanting to experience Vancouver's night life? Granville Street has an entire strip of bars and clubs to check out. If you're in a tourist mood, some great tourist attractions are the Vancouver Aquarium which shows off some adorable and crazy sea creatures. There's Stanley park , a beautiful park right on the ocean, many people like to roller blade along the sea wall, bike or jog and then there's the Capilano Suspension Bridge which is an exciting historical attraction. Just a 10 minute walk away, there is authentic Deep Cove village, which has a gorgeous view of the bay, as well as a little theatre called The Deep Cove Stage Society, if you're into live plays! Would you like to visit the historical Victoria, the capitol of BC? It's a 25 minute drive the the BC Ferries in Horse Shoe Bay, and a 1.5 hour ferry ride.
